Not the son for Souzou to be proud of, troublemaker Tsumoru got worse after his father's death. Although he provided money to make sure his sister and mother were happy, his elder brother never trusted the source was quite legal. Tsumoru stayed with his mother until her death, following which he moved to Tokyo and enscnonced himself in the dark underworld there. During a visit to his sister, he fell for Takani Megumi, and had a bit of a tryst with her. Having sworn he would never marry caused lots of fights between the couple, but despite that, they managed to conceive son Shuuichi. Always seeking for ways to foil the government, Tsumoru at last took revenge for his father and brother by murdering several government officials and torching a building. Soon after he was captured, and executed. Tsumoru undoubtedly got his money through impure avenues, but he made sure his sister, and Megumi, while they were together, were well-cared for, including leaving quite a bit in savings to Megumi. Though a rogue, Tsumoru always meant well, and when he planned his revenge, used a false name so his own family's name wouldn't be tainted with his execution.
