Born and raised as an Oniwabanshuu kunoichi, was one of the first to work at Aoi-ya when it opened in 1860. Met Saitou before the revolution, and slowly fell for him, then married him in 1862. In 1863, she gave birth to their daughter Misao, but had a fight with him when he joined the Shinsengumi a year later, and went back to live with her father at the Aoi-ya with Misao. Saitou and Mitsuki did eventually make up, and Mitsuki went back to him, though she left Misao with her father to protect her. Mitsuki was killed fighting Ishinshishi in 1867, when she protected Saitou from a blow.
