Was once involved with Eol, but when they had a ight and he told her he had never loved her, she left Nan Elmoth for her father's fortress of Angband. There, she fell for Hurin when he was imprisoned by Melkor, and had a daughter by him, Caranel; after the child's birth, Siltathar was killed by her father.
