Daughter of Boromir and Fëanna, spoiled rotten by her father and particularly loved by her uncle Faramir. When she was eighteen, got the idea that she would be able to marry Faramir when she was older, and began trying to win him over. When she failed at this, and in 3020, Faramir finally told her that he would never love her in a romantic sense, she became angry at him and took off on her horse to vent said anger. Due to her state of mind at the time, Estelwen was not as careful as she could have been, however, and she fell off her horse. Faramir found her when he followed her to make sure she was all right, and he brought her back to the city. Her wound was grave, however, and Fëanna was absent, in the Shire to watch over things. Estelwen took ill in the night and died a week later. She was buried following her mother's return, and the discovery of her father's death. Estelwen was buried with her father's split horn, in a grave to serve the both of them in a tribute to their close relationship. Estel had her mother's bright red hair, though it was straight, rather than Fëanna's curly, and her father's grey eyes. She was known as the White Lady of Gondor before her death, and it was said that she looked like Aredhel, to whom she owed her epithet.
