Middle son of Legolas and Arëhin, born in Greenwood shortly before it was overtaken by darkness and changed to Mirkwood. Lived in Rivendell for his early childhood ears, but spent most of the rest of his life in Mirkwood, which he later took over for his father after Thranduil's death. Belegaladh married his childhood friend Arien, and in FO 251 departed overseas with his wife. Belegaladh took after his mother the most of his siblings, with several of her more negative personality traits (standoffishness, jealousy, etc.), as well as his grandfather's temper and distaste towards non-Elves. Despite this, Belegaladh was a just ruler, especially after his wife joined him in Eryn Lasgalen. Belegaladh was very handsome, though his looks were just one more part where he took after his mother; he had features very similar to Arëhin’s, rather than Legolas like both of his brothers did.
